Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Central Plant Engineer is to operate and maintain property machinery, HVAC and mechanical equipment property-wide.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures. This is a safety related-position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operates and maintains
Chilled water supply system.
Complete heating and ventilation.
High- and low-pressure chillers and associated equipment.
Operates and maintains centrifugal and multi-stage pumps up to 500hp.
Operates and maintains cooling towers and all associated equipment.
Open and closed loop water treatment and biocide control systems.
Boilers and high-pressure steam systems.
Diesel generators, switchgear and fuel transfer systems.
Troubleshoots complex maintenance problems and develops creative solutions.
Performs maintenance duties as necessary.
Researches and evaluates new maintenance products and procedures. Orders supplies as needed.
Safety is an essential function of this job.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
