Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Blue Ash, OH. The ideal candidate will conduct chemical and polymer synthesis experiments to support research and product development while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Conduct wet lab experiments involving chemical and polymer synthesis to support research and development projects.
Prepare, handle, and evaluate chemical formulations, resins, and laboratory solutions while adhering to safety protocols.
Perform chemical characterization and material testing using techniques such as FTIR, DSC, titration, and structure-property analysis.
Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot formulation or reaction issues, and provide technical recommendations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test methods, protocols, reports, and validation records.
Support compliance activities, GMP requirements, equipment/process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and overall laboratory operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in chemical/polymer synthesis, formulation development, and laboratory testing within R&D or regulated environments.
Hands-on experience with chemical characterization techniques such as FTIR, DSC, titration, and polymer structure-property analysis.
Experience working in regulated laboratory environments with GMP compliance, technical documentation, and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Pay Details: $41.00 to $45.00 per hour
