Role Summary
The QA Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end functional testing activities, including test
strategy, planning, functional, integration, regression, UAT, and release validation. The candidate should
also have experience leading onsite/offshore QA teams, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders,
supporting release go/no-go decisions, and working closely with automation teams for regression
coverage.
Job Description
- Own and manage the Master Test Plan and overall test strategy for releases, programs, and sprint cycles.
- Review business requirements, process documents, SRS, wireframes, and user stories to identify test scenarios and ensure clear acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and testing scope.
- Maintain requirements traceability to ensure complete coverage across requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and defects.
- Define test entry and exit criteria, test environment needs, test data requirements, and risk-based testing priorities.
- Design, review, and maintain detailed functional test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
- Lead and coordinate smoke, sanity, functional, GUI, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, UAT, and post-production validation testing
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 a year
