Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an Engineer 1 React / Front End for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, high-performance user interfaces while delivering seamless user experiences across modern web applications.
Rate Range: $52/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer 1 React / Front End Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js and modern front-end development practices.
Build reusable UI components, front-end libraries, and scalable solutions to ensure consistency and maintainability across applications.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business and UI/UX requirements into functional user interfaces.
Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, write automated tests, and contribute to architecture discussions and Agile development activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
2-3+ years of experience in Front-End/UI Development with at least 2 years of hands-on React.js development experience.
Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Redux, responsive design, and REST API integration.
Experience building scalable UI applications with modern React features, unit/integration testing, and collaborating within Agile development environments; exposure to TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform is a plus.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $56.00 per hour
