    Description

    Overview: This is a support-level role within the engineering/maintenance function. The position focuses on organizing spare parts inventory and accurately documenting equipment information.
    • Participate in all required safety and regulatory training necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
    • Follow all plant safety rules and regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with established procedures.
    • Accurately enter labor time into maintenance work orders, including detailed descriptions of issue resolution.
    • Take initiative to identify and resolve issues with minimal supervision, working with limited daily instruction and general guidance on newly assigned tasks.
    • Sort and organize spare parts inventory.
    • Accurately identify and record part numbers, serial numbers, and manufacturer information.
    • Maintain and update inventory records using Microsoft Excel.
    • Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
    Skills:
    • (2) years of experience in a maintenance support, production, or inventory-related role within a manufacturing environment (chemical manufacturing experience preferred).
    • Previous experience as a maintenance helper or in a production setting preferred.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude, including the ability to identify part numbers and components on industrial equipment (e.g., pumps, motors).
    • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document part, serial, and manufacturer information.
    • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
    Education:
    • High school diploma or GED required (must be completed prior to start date).
