Description

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) department. ATS is responsible for ISO New England's research and development (R&D) activities, including advanced power systems analysis and control, emerging technologies, market simulation, design and analysis, smart grid, and technology strategy.

How you will make an Impact

Conduct research in the area of electricity markets, power system reliability and optimization techniques.Participate in developing mathematical models for new or existing electricity markets or other area related to power systems.Participate in designing, development and testing of software for power system simulation, grid reliability assessment and electricity markets clearing.Maintain and provide technical support for the in-house developed software.Collaborate with other ISO-NE departments and external organizations in the area of electricity markets, optimization and software development.

The expected salary range for this position is $136,000 - $198,000 per year.
