Job Title: Energy Efficiency Projects Lead - Energy Efficiency Specialist
Duration: 12+ Months(potential to get extension for upto 24 months or get converted to full time as well)
Location: Client Newark Office—80 Park Plaza, Newark, NJ - 07101
Hybrid (depends on project(s) supporting; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Introduction
This role involves providing management oversight for energy efficiency projects, ensuring compliance with relevant orders and procedures, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to interface effectively with various stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Demonstrated proficiency with office software such as PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word.
- Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail.
- Able to travel within the client's territory to conduct meetings with customers, perform inspections, and manage relationships with contractors.
- Valid US driver's license.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and manage processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
- Interface with associates, vendors, customers, and consultants to ensure program rules and requirements are maintained, and projects are cost-effective.
- Develop and customize project proposals to maximize incentives and energy savings.
- Coordinate and direct activities of business development, trade allies, and vendors.
- Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required.
- Compile and analyze data from various projects to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management.
- Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
