About the Role:

As a CBRE Energy and Sustainability Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of small to medium sized energy management programs. This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop cost estimates, pricing, and technical proposals using standard estimating tools and company guidelines.
  • Design and communicate technical solutions, including system architectures, technology recommendations, and alternative options.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement new technologies and software applications to enhance customer solutions and business offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer presentations, technology demonstrations, webinars, trade shows, and other business development activities.
  • Support energy, sustainability, resilience, and smart building initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and achieve client goals.
  • Analyze and interpret energy, waste, water, and sustainability data; prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, and knowledge sharing to team members and project stakeholders.
  • Lead complex assignments, develop innovative solutions, and influence project outcomes through collaboration and consensus-building.
  • Work independently within established policies and broad guidelines to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and drive successful project delivery.
  • Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively to clients, partners, and internal teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of engineering, sales, business development, or related experience, including a proven track record in technical sales.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial and contract concepts, including proposals, negotiations, and basic financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based computer systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum rate for the Energy and Sustainability Manager position is $75,000 and the maximum rate for the Energy and Sustainability Manager position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
