General Responsibility

Provide customer support for enterprise applications, operating systems, endpoints, and peripheral devices, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, problem resolution, acquisition, and replacement. Diagnose and repair moderately complex to complex problems in response to customer reported incidents.

Specific Duties

  • Perform the installation, configuration, upgrade and support of PC desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and other equipment at all SLED offices.
  • Assist Agency users with software and data related issues. Produce and maintain all documentation as required for designated equipment and IT procedures.
  • Work with other IT teams as needed to ensure that security and configuration standards are followed. Adhere to access standards and policies set by server, network, and security teams when installing and configuring equipment or software.
  • Assist with providing training to SLED personnel on the desktop computers and SLED software applications.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

  • A high school diploma
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Thorough knowledge of personal computer techniques, procedures and software configuration.
  • Must be able to make decisions, think logically, create thorough documentation, and be able to effectively coordinate with other departments and vendors.
  • This position requires the ability to lift items up to 50(lbs) pounds.
  • Must posses a valid drivers license.
