Midtown Endoscopy & Surgical Center is searching for an endoscopy technician to join our Gastroenterology team. The endoscopy technician will assist with the Endoscopy room and patient preparation, processing instrumentation, patient transport and other related duties.Job Responsibilities'Assist physicians and during endoscopic proceduresPrepare and set up procedure rooms with appropriate instruments and equipmentPerform cleaning, high-level disinfection (HLD), and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessories according to established protocolsRestock rooms, linens, supplies.Assists with the collection of specimens and prepares specimens for cytology, microbiology, and pathology.Operate and maintain Automated Endoscope Preprocessors (AERs)Monitor and document scope tracking, reprocessing logs, and quality control checksAssist with patient positioning and provide support before, during, and after proceduresHandle, label, and transport specimens to the appropriate lab (cytology, pathology, microbiology)Perform routine safety checks and troubleshoot equipment issues as neededBenefits:Paid PTOHoliday PayHealth Insurance401KThe opportunity to work with an awesome team!Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hourJob Requirements:Must have (2) years of experience as a Endoscopy TechnicianMust be competent in reprocessing#J-18808-Ljbffr
