Job Objective:
Performs the duties of a procedural assistant; prepares supplies for the case and sets up and maintains the procedure table and endoscopy cart. Assists physicians with all endoscopic procedures and is responsible for the care, cleaning and maintenance of the endoscopy equipment.
Job Description:
Education: Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree if hired after March 1, 2025 Preferred: Completion of Advanced EUS/ERCP Training, the SGNA Associates Program and Advance Program Modules Licensure/Certification: Required: American Heart Association BLS Experience: Required: One (1) year of healthcare experience Preferred: Endoscopy Technician experience

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected situations, Ability to operate general office equipment (i.e., computer, printer, scanner, telephone, etc.), Knowledge of general GI (Colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, DRCP, Enterescopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy, Single Balloon, Endo Stitch, Bravo, Halo, Clips) Procedures, ERCP, EUS, Reprocessing scopes and departmental equipment, Knowledge of the endoscopy environment regarding traffic patterns and integrity of the procedure table, Knowledge of theory and safety when using cautery modalities including monopolar, bipolar and argon plasma coagulation and their various probes
