Are you a compassionate, dependable nurse who enjoys providing excellent patient care in a team-oriented environment? We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our outpatient Endoscopy Center in Wichita, Kansas!
 
 
Our center provides specialized gastrointestinal care in a professional, patient-focused setting. We are looking for a nurse who takes pride in delivering exceptional care, values teamwork, and enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
 
 
Position Responsibilities

1. Provide compassionate, individualized nursing care to patients throughout their endoscopy experience.
2. Perform pre-procedure assessments and patient preparation.
3. Monitor patients during procedures and administer medications as ordered.
4. Provide post-anesthesia and post-procedure monitoring and recovery care.
5. Assess and document patient conditions, vital signs, and nursing interventions.
6. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other clinical team members.
7. Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection prevention and clinical standards.
8. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

1. Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
2. Current BLS certification.
3. ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain, if applicable).
4. Previous nursing experience preferred.
5. Endoscopy, GI, procedural, PACU, or ambulatory surgery experience is a plus.
6. Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
7. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. Commitment to providing excellent patient care and maintaining a professional environment.
