Endoscopic Technician at Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Provides technical support in the endoscopy setting which includes but is not limited to preparation of endoscopy suite for all procedures, intra-procedure assistance under physician supervision, and post procedure cleaning and processing of endoscopic equipment. In addition, the GI Tech/CNA is trained in ERCP Procedure and takes responsibility for inventory and ordering of supplies. GI Tech/CNA also coordinates precepting new GI staff to technical aspects of DTS procedures. Under the supervision of an RN/LVN, the GI Tech/CNA will provide direct patient care with the scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Attend four (4) hours of Care Partner training offered by St. Joseph Health System - Greater Sonoma County.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • GI Tech experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training SGNA GI Associates program certificate.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
