- W2 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr plus $675 weekly non-taxed travel per diem *Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from facility

Job Requirements- Assist Physicians side by side during Endoscopy procedures with focus on advanced Endoscopy Procedures (G.I. & Pulmonary services)
- Welcome and prepare patients for their procedures by confirming patient identification & positioning for procedure
- Prepare equipment for procedures and is responsible for turnover of the procedure room(s)
- Assist in clean up, replenishes supplies and confirms all equipment is functioning optimally
- Collect specimens obtained during procedure, accurately labeled, and brought to the lab
- Maintain endoscopy equipment and notifies Clinical Engineering of malfunctioning equipment
- Obtain CPR-BLS certification by the time of appointment
- Have prior experience as a technician in the medical field, ideally in Endoscopy or other medical/surgical subspeciality
- Endoscopy Technician certification required by time of appointment or within 2 years of start date
The most highly qualified candidates may have some or all the following:
- Endoscopy Technician certification
- CPR-ACLS certification
- Familiarity with digestive tract and respiratory disease processes
- Experience with advanced endoscopy procedures
- Associates degree in healthcare-related field
