Job Title: End User Technology (EUT) Specialist Reports To: Manager, End User Technology People Leader: No FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Overview The EUT Specialist provides first-level technical support to end users and ensures the effective setup, maintenance, and operation of end user technology. This role supports hardware, software, and system access while monitoring system performance and escalating issues as needed to maintain service reliability. ** This is a Hybrid/St. Louis position ** Responsibilities The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibilities required of this position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills. Team members may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically stated in this description. - Provides first-level end-user technology support by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, system access, and related technical issues
- Installs, configures, and maintains desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related technology equipment to meet operational needs
- Processes requests for system access and permissions
- Monitors technology systems and services, identifies issues impacting availability or performance, and supports resolution efforts
- Escalates complex technical issues to appropriate teams and supports resolution efforts
- Maintains accurate help desk tickets and documentation for incidents and resolutions
- Supports the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of end-user technology and associated equipment
- Assists with monitoring infrastructure systems including servers, storage, and network components
- Verifies that security tools and controls function properly
Minimum Required Qualifications An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. - High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in IT, end user support, and/or relevant transferable experience
Preferred Qualifications - Degree or specialized training in information technology, computer science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or end user support
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar
- Experience working in a credit union, banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) A representation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently. - Knowledge of end-user computing environments, including operating systems, hardware, enterprise applications, and endpoint support practices
- Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, enterprise applications, and endpoint support practices
- Knowledge of basic networking, system access management, and information security principles
- Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and user support environments
- Skilled in organizing work, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining attention to detail in a service-driven environment
- Ability to analyze issues, apply sound judgment, and adapt to changing technology and support needs
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and provide support to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Ability to collaborate with teams while maintaining a service-oriented and solution-focused approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ticketing systems, and remote support tools
Work Environment Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job’s functions. - Hybrid work environment (predominantly onsite with occasional remote flexibility) with regular use of online tools, systems, and collaboration platforms
- General office setting when working onsite
- Occasional travel to branch locations, vendor sites, or other business-related locations
- Attendance at offsite meetings, events, or conferences as needed
