ABOUT THE ROLE

An established organization is seeking an early-career IT professional to support a large-scale desktop technology environment and help improve day-to-day PC management. This role is well suited for someone with a strong foundation in Windows systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to patiently assist non-technical employees. The position offers exposure to desktop deployment, software and hardware support, asset management, security updates, and enterprise IT initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Windows-based computers and related equipment.
  • Assist with desktop software deployments, application updates, connectivity issues, and version management.
  • Provide basic technical troubleshooting for workstation, peripheral, and software-related issues.
  • Walk end users through technical solutions in clear, easy-to-follow steps, adapting communication to varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Support an enterprise Windows upgrade initiative, including workstation preparation, operating system deployment, and user/data migration activities.
  • Help ensure workstations and laptops receive required security updates and critical patches on a consistent schedule.
  • Assist with IT asset tracking and improve the accuracy and organization of PC-related inventory.
  • Configure and troubleshoot peripherals such as printers, scanners, and other connected devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures for PC deployments, support activities, and asset changes.
  • Work collaboratively with other IT team members on desktop management and infrastructure improvement projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or higher;an IT, computer science, information systems, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Candidates with a relevant degree may be considered with 0 1 year of professional experience.
  • Candidates from a non-IT academic background should ideally have 2 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows PCs and fundamental desktop computing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience installing and configuring hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when supporting non-technical users.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with an enterprise Windows environment.
  • Fluent Chinese language skills are required.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience
