What You''ll Be Doing
Wake County EMS is excited to announce the expansion of its Quality Improvement office to better serve the residents and visitors of Wake County. As the Clinical Quality Improvement Supervisor, you will work closely with the Medical Directors and Clinical Quality Officer to lead the quality improvement and assurance efforts of Wake County EMS and supervise Clinical Quality Improvement Specialists. You will lead and oversee quality improvement projects, review clinical concerns, provide education to field staff, work with other Divisions to help guide system-wide training and education, and help manage and maintain the day-to-day functions of the Division of Medical Affairs.

Wake County EMS is a cutting-edge emergency medical services system that is responsible for providing EMS services throughout Wake County including within each of the county's 12 local municipalities. We responded to over 140,000 requests for 911 EMS services in 2025. The Division of Medical Affairs, which includes the quality improvement activities of Wake County EMS, includes two full-time EMS Physicians and our Advanced Practice Paramedic program.
