Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is looking for adjunct instructors for our Emergency Medical Services program. A part-time, or adjunct, faculty member is employed to provide direct instruction in either a classroom, lab, clinical, or distance education setting on a semester contract basis. The primary responsibility of part-time faculty is to provide quality instruction to students. Adjunct instructors are provided a contract for a single term only. Each contract ends at the end of the term, and a new contract will be provided if the adjunct faculty is hired for another term. An adjunct faculty member is under the management of the Program/Division Chair and supervised by the Academic Dean.

  1. Utilize College technology for the delivery of instruction and completion of operational processes; this includes but is not limited to the Colleges learning management system, email and calendaring solution, document management system(s), student information system, and employee portals.

  1. Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records/requests, and other assigned tasks.
