    EMS OUTREACH & EDUCATION

    FT / 8AM-5PM / 80 HRS PER PAY

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Plans, schedules and coordinates all aspects of pre-hospital emergency care. Conducts and coordinates continuing education for pre-hospital care providers. Serves as a direct liaison between the hospital, EMS providers, and community agencies. Assists EMS medical directors with organizing/maintaining records for continuing education, recertification and drug licensing

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Associate's degree required. Baccalaureate degree preferred.

    Licensure/Certification: Certification to practice as a paramedic in the State of Ohio and/or licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.

    Experience: Must have a minimum of five years of clinical experience in pre-hospital emergency medical services. Previous experience with curriculum planning/education required. Eligible to obtain a commercial drivers license and appropriate insurance for a commercial vehicle required. Previous employment as an EMS Coordinator preferred. Experience with marketing required.

    Skills/Other: Current provider of BLS, ACLS instructor status preferred. Requires superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Desire knowledge of MS office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
