Empower Test Analyst/BA

Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for Empower LOS workflows (Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing). Requirements: Strong working knowledge of Empower LOS and good understanding of mortgage lending workflows.

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for an Empower Test Analyst/BA for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for Empower LOS workflows (Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing).
• Validate configuration, document management, and third-party integrations (e.g., RealEC, Equifax).
• Conduct UAT cycles and regression testing to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality.
• Ability to elicit requirements and track this to closure and BRD sign off
• Ability to create detailed Business Requirement documents
• Perform post-production validation and defect triage sessions.
• Track and document defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, TestRail.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams for resolution.
• Ensure adherence to CFPB guidelines (ATR, QM, TRID) and other mortgage regulations.
• Provide usability and performance feedback from an end-user perspective.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in training business users on testing procedures and system usage.

 
Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of Empower LOS and good understanding of mortgage lending workflows.
• Strong requirement elicitation and management skills
• Ability to plan and execute UAT
• 7.00 Years of Experience
