Employment Litigation Associate | 3–5 Years of Experience | Hybrid Flexibility
Location: Durham, NC

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate for its Durham employment practice. Attorneys with 3–5 years of litigation experience, including commercial or business litigation, are encouraged to apply. Prior employment litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Defend employers in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.

• Handle workplace disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, wage claims, and restrictive covenants.

• Draft pleadings and motions, oversee discovery, and take or defend depositions.

• Research legal issues and advise clients on case strategy and resolution.

Qualifications:

• J.D. with strong academic credentials.

• 3–5 years of litigation experience and solid deposition, discovery, and motion practice skills.

• Licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction; North Carolina admission required within one year.

• Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and research skills.

• Clerkship and e-discovery experience are valued.
