Job Description Cooley LLP has an opportunity for an associate in the Employment and Labor practice group in the New York office. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of broad experience in employment law, with training, experience, and interest in both employment law counseling and employment litigation. The role involves significant day‑to‑day counseling of firm clients, including in New York and Florida, as well as employment support on M&A transactions.Qualified candidates must have a high level of motivation and initiative, excellent writing and communication skills, and strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school. Candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar or be eligible and willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar.Requirements Please note candidates with less than one full year of experience should apply directly.
