Role Structure & Conditions
  • Temporary role (May – November 2026)
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm, in-office ONLY
  • Pay rate: $35/hour
  • Reports to: Human Services leadership

 

Role Purpose
  • This role is responsible for securing employer commitments and ensuring those commitments convert into actual youth hires. You are accountable for the front-end pipeline—employer engagement, opportunity design, and performance follow-through.
  • You are notresponsible for case management, youth recruitment, or placement execution.
  • You areresponsible for making sure the system produces results.

 

Core Responsibilities

Employer Engagement & Deal Closure
  • Proactively engage employers and move them from conversation to commitment
  • Secure clear commitments for jobs, internships, and paid work experiences
  • Work directly with executives, HR partners, and hiring managers

Opportunity Design
  • Define job roles, wage expectations, schedules, and work-based learning structures
  • Ensure opportunities are clear enough for service providers to execute without confusion
  • Confirm opportunities are designed to realistically convert into hires

Pipeline & Performance Ownership
  • Track employer commitments, open positions, fill status, and hires
  • Monitor performance across each stage of the funnel
  • Identify breakdowns early and intervene to get outcomes back on track

Partner Coordination
  • Hand off employer commitments to service providers in a structured way
  • Align expectations between employers and providers
  • Hold the system accountable for delivering on commitments

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience relevant to business development, workforce partnerships, sales, staffing, or employer relations
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Comfort operating independently and holding multiple stakeholders accountable
