The Employee Relations Specialist 1 is responsible for supporting the overall effectiveness, consistency, and organization of Employee Relations programs within the Human Resources function. The position requires the ability to manage sensitive information, prioritize competing needs, exercise sound judgment, and communicate professionally with leaders, team members, and internal stakeholders.
Experience: 2 years Human Resources, data analytics, program administration, or related area
Education: Bachelor''s Degree
Other skills and abilities: Experience supporting Employee Relations, corrective action processes, case management systems, data analytics, reporting, training, or HR program coordination preferred.
Employee Relations Program Administration and Support
- Pull and analyze data from the employee relations case management system and prepare monthly reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage the Employee Relations shared email inbox and ensure inquiries are addressed or routed appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct attendance Corrective Action Form audits and review documentation related to rehire eligibility and levels of discipline for the tuition assistance program.
- Serve as the point of contact for documentation related to unemployment claims, invoicing, subpoena requests, and Employee Health mandatory requirements.
- Provide training and education to leaders regarding the electronic corrective action process and other Employee Relations programs.
- Plan and coordinate Employee Relations retreats, meetings, and other program-related events.
- Support Employee Relations Specialist 2 and 3 team members, as needed, by assisting with investigative cases or serving as a witness during investigative interviews.
