Employee Relations Coordinator | Greenwich, CT

We’re partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization that is looking to add an experienced Employee Relations Coordinator to their growing HR team!
This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees, supporting managers, and helping build a positive workplace culture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, support, and engagement
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, stay interviews, focus groups, and exit interviews
- Support performance evaluations, 90-day reviews, and performance concerns
- Assist with disciplinary actions and ensure HR policy compliance
- Maintain employee records, personnel action forms, and HR policies
- Support mentorship, training, and staff development programs
- Partner with Accounting & Finance on payroll, budgeting, and position management
- Assist with audits, unemployment hearings, and HR data integrity
What they’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Experience with an HRIS; Paycom is preferred
- Strong software and communication skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
