WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Employee Experience & Business Office Manager (EXM) oversees campus onboarding, training, payroll and compliance for a standalone Assisted Living or Independent Living Campus. The EXM manages employee records, regulatory requirements and engagement programs while also handling resident billing, collections, account maintenance, and accounts receivable for the campus. The role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the employee experience and has great attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees the execution of the pre-boarding and onboarding process to ensure a highly engaging and positive new-hire experience.
- Promotes, manages and tracks all required and regulatory training programs, growth programs and certifications for campus employees.
- Manages the Mentor Program, including mentor selection, assignments, engagement, and annual reviews.
- Leads and facilitates weekly Employee Engagement Meetings with the campus Leadership Team.
- Serves as the campus advocate for employee experience by promoting company recognition programs & events, serving as the Thrive subject matter expert, and championing Benefits, Wellness and DEIB initiatives.
- Ensures accurate and timely weekly payroll processing.
- Maintains employee files, licenses & certifications, and vaccinations to maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies and expectations.
- Business Office Expecations include: seting up and maintaining of resident files & trust accounts, accurate reporting of all required information, completing the month-end billling process, posting and applying resident cash, and accounts receiveable collections.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE with 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Associates degree and equivalent experience and knowledge strongly desired.
- Medicare/Medicaid billing experience in long-term care preferred.
