Risk Strategies, now part of Brown & Brown, is seeking an Account Manager with experience in servicing employers and employees with their insurance benefit needs.  Applicants should be able to present, discuss, and educate employers on various insurance solutions and assist in the application of those solutions with the clients’ employee population.
 

Your Impact:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Manage the renewal process for existing accounts, including market negotiations, proposal preparation, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Educate clients on policy terms, conditions, and coverage options.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products.
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and activity logs in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new insurance products.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Health & Life insurance license, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Basic understanding of various health and life insurance products and coverages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
