    A well-established employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Coordinator to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside Account Managers and Account Executives, supporting a diverse portfolio of employer clients across day-to-day service, renewals, open enrollment, compliance, and benefits administration.

    What You'll Do

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support Account Managers and Account Executives with daily client service activities.
    • Assist with renewal preparation and marketing/RFP processes.
    • Coordinate open enrollment meetings and related enrollment activities.
    • Maintain client records, electronic files, and agency management systems.
    • Update employee communication materials and benefits resources.
    • Serve as a secondary point of contact for client benefit-related inquiries.
    • Assist with claims resolution, benefits administration, and plan-related issues.
    • Support compliance initiatives, plan document reviews, and filing processes.
    • Participate in carrier and industry training programs to expand technical knowledge.
    • Assist with special projects and additional departmental initiatives as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 2+ years of employee benefits experience in an Account Coordinator, Benefits Administrator, Client Service, or similar role.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
    • Life & Health insurance license or ability to obtain within a defined period after hire.

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Experience with benefits administration platforms and agency management systems.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish.
    • Exposure to compliance, claims, employee communications, or benefits technology tools.
