    Description

    The EMI/EMC DO-160 Engineer will support aerospace equipment qualification, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), EMI, and environmental testing in accordance with RTCA DO-160 requirements. The role involves developing test procedures and reports, operating test setups at third-party laboratories, troubleshooting test failures, and supporting customer approval and engineering documentation.

    • Perform aerospace equipment qualification testing in accordance with DO-160 standard and test procedure shared by customer
    • Detailed understanding of each sub system to be qualified and interconnection within the system
    • Creation of EMC & Environmental test procedures and Test Reports per DO-160 standard, review, and release to customers for test approval
    • Operate Electric systems test setups at third party EMC test labs for EMI/EMC testing
    • Support in performing EMC & Environmental tests per Test Procedures and review test reports
    • Expertise in resolving EMI/EMC & Environmental failures through circuit analysis and simulations
    • Test datasheets update during the testing and review with team, creation of Aerospace Engineering Report (AER) and release it to customer
    • Perform aerospace equipment qualification testing in accordance with RTCA DO-160 and customer-approved test procedures.
    • Develop a detailed understanding of subsystems, system architecture, and electrical interconnections.
    • Create, review, and release EMC and environmental test procedures and test reports.
    • Coordinate with customers for test procedure review and approval.
    • Set up and operate electrical test systems at third-party EMC test laboratories.
    • Support EMI/EMC and environmental testing according to approved procedures.
    • Monitor testing activities and update test datasheets with accurate results.
    • Review laboratory test results and identify potential compliance issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve EMI/EMC and environmental test failures using circuit analysis and simulations.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and implement corrective solutions.
    • Prepare Aerospace Engineering Reports (AERs) and release documentation to customers.
    • Support technical reviews with internal teams, customers, and external test laboratories.
    • Ensure testing and documentation comply with applicable DO-160 and aerospace engineering
