Emergency Veterinary Technician Assistant - Evenings

We are looking for:Emergency Veterinary Technician Assistant 

Proposed Schedule: Wednesday- Saturday 4:00pm- 2:30 am

Never a dull moment in theER!Ourpatients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are executed. This department is perfect forsomeone who canidentifypatientdistress and react accordingly, enjoysassistingwith recovery and client follow up and education.

What you’ll do: 

• Ensure patients receive qualitycare

• Ensure documentation isaccurateandcomplete

• Oversight/care for stablepatients

• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patientrestraint

• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinicalteams

• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs ofdepartment

Who you are: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette

• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strongattention to detail

• Work successfully as a team member andautonomously

• Sense of urgency, Critical thinking skills

• Effective patient restraint

• Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours whennecessary

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironment

• Prior veterinary experience
