    Emergency Veterinarian (DVM) – South Charlotte, NC

     

    A veterinary hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian (DVM) to join its emergency and critical care team. This role is ideal for veterinarians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy managing urgent and complex cases, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Perform emergency examinations and assessments

    • Develop and implement treatment plans for critical patients

    • Stabilize and manage urgent and emergency cases

    • Perform emergency procedures and medical interventions

    • Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results

    • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses

    • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and hospital staff to provide high-quality patient care

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution

    • Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure

    • Strong diagnostic, medical, and emergency care skills

    • Ability to make timely decisions in high-pressure situations

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
