About the PositionElite Vehicle Solutions is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Emergency Vehicle Installers. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt law enforcement and public safety vehicle equipment. We service police, public safety, and specialty vehicles for both local and federal clients.
Key Responsibilities• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency equipment, including (but not limited to):Light bars and flashersSirens and speakersIn-car video systems and camerasLaptops, printers, and mobile data terminalsConsoles and transport partitionsRadios, antennas, and routersWindshield and side glass replacementPerform system testing to ensure proper operation of all equipmentMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasDocument work completed and communicate effectively with team membersFollow company, manufacturer, and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of vehicle wiring and the ability to identify electrical circuits
Experience with emergency lighting installation is a plus
Automotive or marine 12-volt experience is beneficial
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Ability to work with and see small components
Good hearing and color vision are required
Must be reliable, punctual, and prepared to work each day
Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification is a plus, but not required
