    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the specialized Emergency Department (ED) Float Pool. This full-time, night shift position is vital for ensuring high-quality, continuous patient care across various acute care areas. The RN will act as a patient and family advocate, providing expert nursing assessments and diagnostics with a commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
    • Facilitate patient care through timely nursing assessments, diagnoses, and execution of care plans.
    • Provide plan-based care focused on achieving optimal clinical outcomes and continuous improvement.
    • Float between different units as required by the operational needs of the Emergency Department.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last year or two) Acute Care Emergency Room (ER) RN experience is required.
    • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or an active COMPACT license, with the ability to obtain a Florida license before hire.
    • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) is current and required.
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is preferred, but required within 6 months of hire.
    • Education: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred.
