Emergency Medicine Physician – Seaside, OR

  • Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM or 6 PM – 7 AM (majority of shifts are nights)
  • Hours/week: 12 guaranteed hours/day, flexible scheduling
  • Employment Type: Contract/Locums
  • License/Certs: Active Oregon medical license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PAL, ATLS, NRP highly preferred
  • Experience: BC or BE in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with extensive EM experience; 3+ years preferred
  • Additional Qualifications: Must be willing to work night shifts, perform intubations, and handle a variety of emergency cases

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (please bid accordingly)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide urgent and emergency care across inpatient settings
  • Manage diverse cases including trauma, medical, and critical patients
  • Perform intubations and advanced airway management as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal care
  • Document accurately using hospital EMR systems
  • Cover scheduled shifts, including night and day rotations, to maintain continuous emergency services
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives

What You Need
Required:
  • Active Oregon medical license and DEA registration
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with extensive EM experience
  • BLS, ACLS, PAL, ATLS, NRP certifications highly preferred
  • Willingness to work night shifts and manage complex emergency cases

Preferred:
  • Experience performing intubations and managing critically ill patients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, small-volume ER with pass-on to next shift providers
