Bay Area is a full-service, acute care hospital with an adjacent three-story medical office building. Specialized services include a robust 24-hour Emergency Department, Cardiovascular Services, Robotic Surgery and the Breast Center of South Texas. The Bay Area Campus is also home to The Women’s Center at Bay Area, which offers a Women’s and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, state-of-the-art birthing suites, and comprehensive nursery services. The Corpus Christi Cancer Center, a full-service, free-standing cancer center, is adjacent to Bay Area Hospital. Corpus Christi Medical Center’s Surgical Weight Loss Program at Bay Area Hospital specializes in minimally invasive robotic surgery for weight loss.
