Job Summary:

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join us at our West Volusia Emergency Freestanding in Deland, FL.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
  • Family Medicine and Internal Medicine boarded certified candidates accepted with 6,000 hours experience or 3 years of experience in emergency medicine immediately prior to application
  • ACLS & PALS required

About HCA Florida West Volusia Emergency:
  • 11 private treatment rooms
  • Digital diagnostic equipment, including CT, ultrasound and portable X-ray machines
  • On-site laboratory
  • Telemedicine technology with a specific focus on stroke care and behavioral health
  • Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute-care hospital and Level II Trauma Center that serves the communities of Seminole and West Volusia counties. The hospital provides the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and West Volusia, including open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation and comprehensive diagnostic services. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.
