Emergency Medicine Physician at a Level II Trauma and Tertiary Care Center | Teaching and Research Opportunities

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our hospital- employed Emergency Medicine team in Bangor, Maine. New graduates and those seeking visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply. Part-time and per diem opportunities are also available.

Position Highlights:

• Tertiary care referral center serving the northern 2/3 of Maine
• 38k patients/year encompassing all ages; highest acuity ED in the state
• Group consists of 17 ABEM certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and 7 APPs
• Dual physician coverage at a minimum 24/7
• Care areas include the main ED, Behavioral Health and observation. Access to Behavioral Health practitioners and clinicians 24/7
• Full support of medical specialists, including ED Pharmacist, PICU, NICU, IMU, CCU, and a closed ICU

Compensation Information:

• Full time: $377,300 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives
• Part time: $264,110 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives
• Per diem: $280.43 hourly rate
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.  The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
