JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), Internal Medicine (ABIM), or Surgery (ABMS/AOA recognized board)
Licenses: Active Unrestricted Ohio Medical License, Active DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS (as applicable based on board certification) required
Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, FM, or Surgery required
Other Qualifications: Seasonal Flu vaccination and QuantiFERON testing required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical coverage during 24-hour shifts in a freestanding emergency department.
Evaluate, stabilize, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical and surgical conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including lab work, CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound.
Coordinate patient transfers to higher-level care facilities when necessary.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records within the Epic EMR system.
