MountainView Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced, well-supported emergency department with strong physician coverage, streamlined workflows, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Emergency Department Highlights
- Annual ED volume: ~32,000 visits
- 22 Emergency Department beds
- 24-hour physician coverage
- 20 hours of NP/PA coverage daily
- Average patient load: ~1.8 patients/hour

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Provide timely, high-quality emergency care within scope of practice
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and consulting specialists
- Assist in procedures and stabilization of critically ill patients when appropriate
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and evidence-based guidelines
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current New Mexico NP or PA license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
