Physicians see a variety of cases from trauma to illness and patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Local trauma surgeons provide good support, and the nursing staff is very strong and experienced. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience.

Facility

A premier care provider in central Wyoming, SageWest Health Care features two locations in Lander and Riverton that offer a full range of services to the communities they serve. The Riverton location is a 154-bed acute care facility and the Lander location is an 86-bed facility. Services offered include Diagnostic Imaging, Otolaryngology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, 24-hour Emergency Medicine, an Intensive Care Unit, and many other specialty services.
