TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to lead our team and department as the EM Medical Director at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. Blanchard Valley Hospital

• Annual ED Volume: 39,000 visits
• ED Beds: 25 beds with behavioral health and trauma bays
• Acuity: Medium, 12% admission rate
• EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation, plus Cleo AI scribe for efficient documentation
• Coverage: 38 hours of physician, 20 hours of APC coverage
•  Level III Trauma Center with strong surgical support
• Consistent long-term nursing staff team
• Excellent specialist support with a wide variety of specialists available on call 

Medical Director Overview

• ABEM/AOBEM certification preferred - can accept ABFM with EM experience
• Must have prior clinical leadership experience in emergency medicine
• Lead and manage a team of EM physicians and APCs
• Drive patient experience initiatives and quality improvement efforts
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and departments to optimize ED operations
• Impact department growth by supporting physician recruitment, orientation, retention, and professional development
• Actively engage in departmental and leadership meetings
