Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Medford, OR

  • Duration: Ongoing, with 4-8 shifts per month
  • Schedule: 9am-9pm or 11pm-6am (may extend to 7am), flexible shifts
  • Hours/Week: Based on scheduled shifts
  • Employment Type: Locum, part-time
  • Licensure/Certifications: Active Oregon license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, BC or eligible within 3-5 years of residency
  • Experience: At least 2 years in Emergency Medicine preferred
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (plus incentives as noted)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide emergency medical care in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Manage a diverse patient population experiencing acute illnesses or injuries
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists for comprehensive care
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely
  • Respond to urgent situations swiftly and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Participate in scheduled shifts, both day and night, with flexibility as needed

What You Need
Required:
  • Active Oregon medical license
  • DEA certification
  • BC or recent BOARD ELIGIBILITY within 3-5 years of residency
  • ACLS & BLS certifications
  • 2+ years of emergency medicine experience

Preferred:
  • Prior experience in hospital emergency departments
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including night and day hours
