    Department Emergency Medicine - VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital

    Duties & Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in community mental health settings • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams • Supervise residents and medical students in clinical rotations • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical documentation • Maintain current knowledge of psychiatric best practices and evidence-based treatments • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies
