Emergency General Surgeon- PRN- Mason City, Iowa

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a PRN Emergency General Surgeon to join its premier surgical team in Mason City, IA. This dynamic, high-volume, technologically advanced practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Join the dynamic team of 3 General Surgeons, 1 Acute/Trauma General Surgeon, and 2 PA's
  • PRN Coverage for Emergency General Surgery- very flexible scheduling
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Shift length: 24 hours (12 in house; 12 call)
  • PRN Rate: $265.80/hour

Qualifications

  • All offers are contingent upon the successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
  • Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
  • Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program
  • Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.
  • Above average communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
