Description

The Emergency Department Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24-hour management of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care that meets established standards. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight to maintain efficient and effective emergency services.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department (ED).
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff.
  • Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient care outcomes and implement improvements as needed.
  • Maintain regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license.
  • BSN required (master's in nursing or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care Emergency Room experience.
  • Proven leadership experience ( charge nurse, supervisor, or manager ).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
