As an emergency communications officer, you'll serve as the first line of defense in our Emergency Communication Center (ECC). You'll manage and mitigate emergency situations that could impact the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets. Acting as part of the national command center for all emergency communications, you'll respond swiftly and effectively to prevent safety concerns and operational disruptions. In addition, you'll stay vigilant and make quick decisions while performing under pressure with professionalism and composure.

This position will require you to report to our Mayfield Village, Ohio office location.

Schedule

• Wednesday- Sunday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM ET.
• Must be flexible to work other shifts in support of the 24x7 work environment, including holidays and weekends and the ability to work overtime, if necessary.

Must-have qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of three years of security supervisory, security console operator related experience, or Military/Law Enforcement experience

Preferred skills

• Understanding of all physical security systems (Access Control, CCTV, and Incident Reporting Programs), and global notification protocols.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to develop effective working relationships.
• Ability to effectively multi-task, moving back, and forth between multiple incidents.
• Maintain professional demeanor and productivity during stressful work situations.

Compensation

• $26.01 - $32.50/hour
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
• An additional 10% when you work evening or weekend hours
