Randallia Emergency Care is a 43â€'bed emergency department located on the main floor at Parkview Randallia, providing care to patients of all ages with a wide range of medical, surgical, and mental health needs. The unit manages varying levels of acuity, from basic medical concerns to Level 1 trauma, supporting comprehensive emergency services for the community. Care is delivered by a collaborative team of nurses and emergency care technicians working together in a fastâ€'paced, highâ€'acuity environment. Randallia Emergency Care emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and delivering timely, highâ€'quality emergency care to a diverse patient population. Education Must have a HS Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, the following requirements must be met: must be actively working towards high school diploma/GED and receive within 2 years of hire. Licensure/Certification Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire. CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred. If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center, PCTs must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire for those 18 years and older. Experience Minimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred, but not required. Other Qualifications Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to attend mandatory training days week of start. New Hire Orientation (Monday all day) and Patient Care Essentials/Epic (Tuesday-Thursday all day).
