Job Summary:
New Ulm Medical Center is seeking a Casual APP to provide vacation coverage and supplemental support in the Emergency Department. The ED is always staffed by a physician, with the APP serving as a second provider during periods of higher patient volume.
You will work alongside a team of ED physicians and have access to support from a wide variety of specialties. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support a collaborative Emergency Department team while helping meet fluctuating patient care needs.

Regular shift opportunities:
Sunday: 3:00 PM-10:00 PM
Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Designated holidays: 10:00 AM-10:00 PM
Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve: 3:00 PM-10:00 PM
Additional shifts may be available during surge periods, including Fridays, Saturdays, holidays, and as-needed departmental support.
Quarterly schedules are developed in advance (e.g., April-June schedules are finalized in January).
24/7 access to specialty service lines, including mental health, cardiology, neurology, and pediatrics
11-bed Emergency Department with approximately 9,500 annual visits
Level IV Trauma Center and stroke-ready facility
Supported by an experienced nursing team and employed EMS network

Pay Range: $141,731 to $155,896 per year
The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
