JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $96.20/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for missile subsystem programs

• Analyze software and system requirements to develop effective technical solutions

• Support software architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing activities

• Deploy, integrate, and debug embedded software on hardware platforms

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support development and flight testing initiatives

• Perform software integration, verification, and troubleshooting activities

• Communicate technical solutions, program status, and risks effectively with leadership and engineering teams

• Support software configuration management and version control activities using GitLab

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution

• Experience in software engineering and embedded software development

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Embedded Linux

• Proficiency in C++ programming

• Experience deploying, integrating, and debugging embedded software on hardware systems

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
