Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and integration of embedded software for automotive electronic control units (ECUs)
Translate customer specifications into software requirements and system architecture
Execute the Flex-N-Gate Product Development Process to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, program managers, and engineering teams to define and refine product requirements
Analyze system requirements, design software architecture, implement code, and verify real-time embedded systems
Develop and support software validation strategies, including manufacturing, EMC, and environmental testing
Drive continuous improvement of software tools, methodologies, and development processes to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of software-related issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in real-time embedded software development, preferably in safety-critical automotive applications
Strong programming expertise in C, C++, and assembly language, with experience in scripting languages
Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, including analog /digital circuits and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C)
Familiarity with software development standards and processes such as ASPICE
